1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Kotu, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Kotu helps users manage screen time by providing app blocking, schedules, usage insights, and other digital wellbeing features using Apple’s approved technologies, including Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity.

The effectiveness of certain features depends on the permissions you grant and the capabilities of your device.

3. Subscriptions

Some features require a paid subscription.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings.

4. Free Trial

If offered, any free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the app only for lawful purposes.
• Not attempt to interfere with or bypass the app’s functionality.
• Not reverse engineer, copy, or distribute the app except as permitted by law.

6. Intellectual Property

Kotu and all related content, trademarks, graphics, and software are owned by us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer

Kotu is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While we strive to provide reliable functionality, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the app if these Terms are violated.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
